1460 Vintage Made in England Lace Up Boots in Black | Dr 。worn by my son once before he grew out of them. The Made in England Vintage collection is handcrafted by our Wollaston factory cobblers using original construction techniques — plus Quilon, our rare, original specification Dr. Martens leather. Thick and corrected-grain with a matte finish, this leather only gets better with age. This unisex 1460 boot is made with all the classic Doc\'s DNA, including grooved sides, heel-loop and yellow stitching. Built to last, it\'s made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt — which means the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch. The boot sits on our iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance. Our Made in England footwear may come with either a gold or yellow scripted heel loop. Quilon leather is crafted using a traditional method and features contrast base color for a two-tone finish Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch Footbed - Slimmer and a more tapered shape
