This small tilt hat is typical of the hats from the 1930s\'. It consists of a small oval shaped cap made of olive felt, and it has a strap at the back made of the same felt. The top of the hat is covered in gold curly ostrich feathers.
Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, or a combination of these.
