Soft brown/taupe tulle is artfully gathered and draped, finished with a striking band of iridescent sequins and beads formed into leaf shapes. The sequins catch the light beautifully with rainbow flashes. Authentic Christian Dior Chapeaux Paris–New York label is present (see close-up photos). This is from Dior’s licensed American millinery line, typically dating to the 1950s–1960s. Family provenance: This belonged to my great-aunt, who wore it for cabaret performances. A special piece with real history. Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. Tulle is intact with no major tears. Sequins and beads are secure and sparkling.
